I Joined the Department of Earth Science in June 2024, having worked in industry for 8 years in the preparation of petrographic thin-sections, used to assess concrete design compliance, failure analysis, fire damage assessment, and source matching for heritage projects. I have an MGeol in Geology from the University of Plymouth, graduating in 2014 where I learnt and refined several laboratory skills, such as Microfossil prep and picking.
